The Baja Designs LP4 Pros sit snuggly under that bar when mounted directly to the bumper. But a pair of XL80's should fit on the maximus bracket. Just sayin'.Maximus 3 slp hoop...
Yes, I got the light mount as well for future Baja lights. Damn you guys for making me spend money.
I think I'm going with the amber squadron SAE to help out in rough weather on the road and wire them to Aux 4. Having both white and amber bd lights, I've got to say that the amber is great for more than just snow, fog, and dust. Even on a clear night, it gives a noticeably higher definition lighting effect. The SAE Squadrons seem to only come in the wide cornering pattern, which is great for near field lighting and being able to use them in traffic. You might also think about an additional pair of amber Squadron Pros with the combo lense for some extra throw on dark roads without others around to blind.I think I'm going with the amber squadron SAE to help out in rough weather on the road and wire them to Aux 4. Thanks! I gotta agree about the amber. Just for fun, I put the amber film over the stock fogs and it make a hell of a difference. Your Jeep looks great, buddy!
If you don't mind the suggestion, a set of the amber Squadron SAE in your fog pockets and a set of amber Squadron Pros with the combo spot/wide cornering pattern mounted on the Maximus-3 bracket under the bull bar. That would cover all bases. A cutoff line for traffic and a full coverage blanket of light at the ready. Thanks! I gotta agree about the amber. 2 months to break in? i broke mine in within 4 days lol. Couldn't wait to inspect, clean it up, and change fluid so I could have fun with it.Finally did a big worth while mod !! Picture of the stock left over gears. Went with 4.88 gears on my jl sport . Having new rims and bigger tires make you look good but having better gears make you feel good !! Going take 2 months to break in probably . But it shall be worth it .. bearly have to press the gas to go!! Feels great !! Super low rpms while driving.
Dang! You went for all the options! What are your thoughts on the molle panels? Are there two panels (one for each section of the deck) or just the one? I saw you had some things loaded up on it already, do you feel the items hang too low? Did you happen to notice if the deck feels stiffer now or anything? I keep thinking that I need to order these and the foam pads. Did you get the medium grey pads? Yours looks quite different than what is shown on the website, I like your image better.Finished installing the Slipstream!
My new JLU was delivered with 42ish PSI all the way around (one of the things I brought with me for my own PDI was a tire pressure gauge.)I also lowered the tires to the recommended pressures on the door sticker, rides so much better.
Dropping the tires from 47 front, 46 rear to 37 all around made a huge difference and surprised the dealer didn't correct the tire pressure during PDI.
I've seen several posts where the sound bar was fully removed for speaker replacements. Is removal compulsory for this job, or does it just make things a bit easier for the installer?I installed new speakers
