Switched out factory Rubicon hood decal for some orange accents/outline and digital camo. I didn’t like the red. Added matching side vent. Tinted front two windows to match factory tint. Put wearthertech non drill mud flaps on.

Looks nice. From where did you get the new decal? Did you install yourself and if so how did (tips on process) you remove the factory one?

I supplied Don @pixeldecals with the vision and he did the rest. No, I had the window tint place do it for me. I don’t have the patience to do it. I do a bit more orange accent somewhere on the rear or back side.
Anyone have any ideas?

Well I did some of this a while back and other of it this past week. These are all "First world problems", but you know got to keep busy with mods.

I have had this kit from JK Innovations (looks like they have rebranded the company) for a couple years now. https://innovativeatproducts.com/sh...ith-arb-twin-compressor-ckmta12-package-deal/ I love it. I use for both Air up and air down. It can do 4 tires from 12 psi to 40 psi (I have the blow-off set for 40, then bleed the tires back down to 37) in just a few minutes.

Last year I switched the valve stem quick connects that ship with it to Haltec clip on ones (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01938M8MW). These are my favorite, I use them everywhere. Very secure, and one handed operation. I think this product even ships with the JK kit now by default. So that was last year.

Now this weekend was to solve me having extra steps. So to use this system, the air compressor hosing is open at the mount on each front seat rail. So after I pull out the hose kit, I have to connect it the passenger side seat, but not to the tires as they will drop air from the open port on driver side. So after hooking up passenger side to seat, then I go around to driver side, connect hose to seat, then to driver side tires. Then back to passenger side to connect those tires. Then back to driver side to release the air. Its like a little dance.

So this weekend I added valves under each seat that I normally keep closed. I can now hook up passenger side, open valve. the do driver side, and open valve, and go right into dropping air. I told you, real 1st world problems. :)

But then I got creative. I help others after wheeling put air in their tires, or sometimes I will have just one tire report low (mud/sand in rim is a constant battle). The JK kit forces you to do 2 tires at once, unless you start reconnecting the parts, and even then, the tire gauge is at my seat. And the blow-off is more unreliable when not connected to all 4 tires (not sure why). So I created a new hose. All very simple. At end of the line I connected in a Harbor Freight air gauge, and of course I added my Haltec chuck. So now I can simply add air to 1 tire on my Jeep or on a friends vehicle.

And one more project (Not specifically for the Jeep). I have an air compressor at home, not sure I will use it to fill tires anymore, but I also created a custom air gauge to use that quick connects to air line, and has a valve, gauge, and 3' lead to a Haltec connector. That way I can fill a tire without having to bend over. Yeah, I might just be lazy. :)

Installed Road Armor's fenders. But after I pulled off one of the rears, I realized they never sent me the rears! So now she's a frankenstein with mismatching front and rear fenders!

Road Armor is sending the rears shortly. Their customer service is superb. The product itself is amazing. Looks great, powdercoat is very good, and fitment is perfect.

Installed the Stinger 10” Jeep radio to replace the factory 5” radio. Huge screen and truly plug and play iIt did take several hours to install as stuffing all the wires in the dash was the hardest part.

Dotta Chrysler Jeep sent a driver out with this and picked up ours to address the CEL. Thought that was pretty awesome considering I live 55 miles away from them ...

@FrostySerb

Considering that same dealer frucked you in the arse and used no K-Y jelly... well, that is the least that they should do.... Was them that knowingly, sent you on your way at Sales time with a JL that had who knows what wrong with it... CEL....

How was the install? I have a set I need to throw on on the next day or two.
Pretty straight forward. I did one side with the wheel well liner already attached and then the other I put in after the fender. Do it after the fender. Much easier to get the clips installed correctly. Now I’m having issues with my LED turn signals. Trying to figure out the JScan settings.
