Deff saving it. Here is a really stupid question. Is there a way to store it using my garage hard top lift in winter when my hard top is back on? I have a garage smart lift.
I think you would have to make some lifting brackets for it. Quadratec has a bracket that you mount on the wall holds the top and windows.

No stupid questions, just stupid answers.
Here is what i did. I’ve been storing my soft top this way. And for the hard top over the spring and summer.
just center a nylon strap and leveled out the arms with hooks and some rope adjusters..

Nice day here in Hampton roads and finally got around to a project that I’ve been putting off all winter. I had to take the metal skid plate off when I installed my front receiver hitch. I’ve never liked the look with it off, but had to do some minor surgery to make it fit with the hitch.

Much cleaner now, but mainly cosmetic as I haven’t yet figured out how to bolt up the back side of the skid. That’s a project for another day.

Is that specific for jeep spares are did you just rig it? Love it. Painted?
Its black PVC rod holders with marine grade black bungee cords holding them on through spare. I put some rubber pads on back of rod holder to make sure it doesn’t scratch spare rim. Amazon DIY, but it seems solid.

I like your channel.
How do those compare to the Pro6?
(Sorry if noted in video, can’t watch at work)
Thank you. That was just a quick clip on Instagram. I haven't released the full video on YouTube yet. The Pro6 and FlexEra use different types of technology. The Pro6 has a very low draw and shoots the light back at the reflector to capture all light and fine tunes the beam pattern, then shoots it far down the trail. The Pro6 has one of the most defined beam patterns of any light. The Spot Pro6 will still shoot further down the trail than a FlexEra4. BUT, the FlexEra4 is crazy bright up-close and all around, plus still shoots down the trail quit a bit. It shoots light everywhere, not as a defined beam pattern as the Pro6. It really lights up everything between the Jeep and down the trail. The FlexEra4 also has a much great draw. 2 FlexEra4s have a greater pull than all 8 of my Pro6s on my bar. For most people, I think they will like the FlexEra4 more than the Pro6 as it lights up closer and all over. I will have a comparison video showing the beam patterns and light spread between the Pro6 and FlexEra4 coming soon. Depending on work load.

Joe is that the bag with windows in it on the wall? I didn’t put mine on yet so not familiar with all parts.
Can you give me some other pics on how it’s hung? I can’t tell.
Is it pretty stable? Wont slip? My other truck would be parked under it.

Great mod. I use my front hitch a lot with a cargo rack for luggage on family trips, cooler/firewood for camping. For everyday use it’s better than roof rack as keeps everything at ground level for easy loading/access. I left my skid off, but I have the cheap plastic one which is useless anyway.

In preparation for a 3.5” lift and 37” tires I got the Rugged Ridge Spartacus HD Tire Carrier. IMO the hardest part is the tear down of everything to get the hinge installed. The installation itself it pretty straightforward, as is the tire carrier itself. Downsides include the mounting of the 3rd brake light. This requires you to carry an extra allen wrench. IMO they would have done better to offer a torx bolt that could make use of the Jeep‘s included tools. Also, this mount leaves the wires more exposed and it just doesn’t look that great IMO. At some point I’ll probably get a LED donut light like I had on my old Jeep. All in all, not bad for the $426 I got it for off Amazon.
