Buy the one that has the best features for you, but happy with my VOS. Super easy install, more switches, no flash, and servicable. Again, buy what you like, but my install (and I am a dummy) was super clean and easy. There's only one com cable that gets eliminated by introducing the unreliability of wireless...
Thanks. I have run 37s on stock rims for about a year now with just relocation bracket and hard rock tailgate support bracket. Had to adjust the tailgate stopper thing so it sits tight and no rattle so I’m thinking just the HD mount be enough...it’s about 20 pounds heavier on this setup I think. Sigh Decisions decisions.First off, nice Jeep you've got there!
You might want to consider a complete hinged tailgate reinforcement with adjustable carrier. I had the Teraflex Alpha HD, but the 38x13.5 spare was causing some creaking and noticeable sag at the hinges. I recently replaced it with the Cavfab Elite carrier. It's so much more solid and quiet now.
Well, I can definitely attest to how great the Alpha HD was. Only reason I veered away, is because it's taken them longer than originally planned to release the complimenting reinforcement.Thanks. this kicks sooooo much a**The Jeep needs a wash. I’ll take better shots when the weather improves.
have you been rock crawling with that in place? I am curious as to how it would hold up off roading?
Finally installed the wpngear mount with carbine kit. (Carbine not included.)
I add a strap to augment the buffer tube clamp because having a rifle fall on my lap doesn't sound like fun. The quickfist and the steel is solid.have you been rock crawling with that in place? I am curious as to how it would hold up off roading?
Lol. I’ve had my Voswitch for a couple years now. The point of my post was actually to point out that install was very easy (only one more wire than a “wireless” unit)...Buy the one that has the best features for you, but happy with my VOS. Good luck, have fun.
so does a clip get in the way of anything? I was looking to add this to my must do list...I add a strap to augment the buffer tube clamp because having a rifle fall on my lap doesn't sound like fun. The quickfist and the steel is solid.
