What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Thanks. According to the owners manual you leave manual transmissions in any gear and autos in park. Only the transfer case is in neutral. The trans won't be spinning due to the transfer case in neutral.

The owners manual is the final say on what is correct for towing your particular rig, irregardless of what some dood on the interweb says.

Put your manual in a higher gear, 5th or 6th. God forbid the transfer case somehow pops into gear you won't burn out the trans or even possibility damage the engine.

Had a battery problem yesterday. Brought her to the dealer both batteries were found faulty and replaced via warranty. I'm at 2.5 years 30k. Normally this would happen to me at 37k miles.

Looks like we both have the Altitude mine is a 20 loving it. I have done a few small mods but big changes coming in March when all the parts arrive. Look forward to seeing your build. We spend half the year in your area, plan to make a trip back in April after we get the vaccination.

Installed GMRS antenna and bracket kit from @CoolTech . Also sent them an email since there was ZERO info on just how to connect the cable to the bracket. This was the only way that made sense. All they had was a picture and it was poor quality. Sorry @CoolTech , could be just a tad better.

For the record I got a very nice response from CoolTech letting me know that I did it the correct way. I suggested they consider at least telling folks to toss the step washer that comes with the MXTA24 cable.

Installed Diode Dynamics clear side markers with amber Leds and also Quake LED fogs with Halo that also turns amber when turn signal is applied. A little bit of a pain running the wires for the turn signal but happy with the result.
