It dropped 1.5 MPG. I was averaging 18 combined but now the dash is reading 16.5.
Gotcha, I’m getting 18 as well on mostly highway driving at 70 mph with the 2.0T and auto trans. Do guy keep anything else on top? Very helpful and thanks for the reply...

Awesome. I wanted the same rail mount but was sold out last I checked and am considering the tuffy tailgate lockbox. Any sagging of the tailgate since install?
Frank, my Rubicon came with the heavy duty tailgate hinges. There has been no sagging or other noticeable changes. Additionally, the 67 Designs rail mount fits like a glove. I know there are other mounts on the market, but I couldn't be happier with the 67.

we do not have anything else yet. We have no intention of keeping anything on it like a tent or gear. I plan on putting circle lights on it but not for a while.

Sang Happy First Birthday to my jeep! Thanks to Covid I only put 3196 miles on it.
My neighbors chimed in and clapped. Today is a good day 😌

2019 JL two door Rubicon
As someone who drives the elusive 2 door ( I feel like I never see 2 door JL's out an about ) I have had storage problems since I bought it and took it out on my first multiday trip on the trails. I randomly looked at Vector offload's website to see if they had released their storage shelf they've had for the 4 door for the 2 door.... AND THEY DID! I was so excited about getting this in, and just in time as I'm headed out to hit some trails this weekend. FedEx dropped it off an I practically ran downstairs with it to start installing it. Install was super easy, they have a video posted on their YouTube page that made the install a cinch. I will say, there was no instructions in the box, and there is a considerable amount of hardware, so it did take me a little bit to figure out which bolts when where. But, their YouTube video helps out some with this.

This was starting out.

Packaging was TOP NOTCH. Tons of styrofoam wrapping paper protecting everything really well, and PVC coating still on the aluminum.

Doing this solo required some ingenuity on how I was going to hold up the platform while getting it bolted into the brackets on the sides.

All attached, but missing the support brackets that attached to the sport bars.

Final brackets attached an everything tightened down.

Loaded up with a few quick things to load test it.

Bonus. Pretty sure EVERYONE on here has one of these now. An I feel like I'm the last person to receive mine even thought I ordered it as soon as it released. Took forever to get here.

Doug - thanks a lot for responding. Great to hear on the hinges and also on the rail mount. I’m definitely getting the rail mount from 67 and still considering the tuffy. Have a great one and enjoy.
