Doug - thanks a lot for responding. Great to hear on the hinges and also on the rail mount. I’m definitely getting the rail mount from 67 and still considering the tuffy. Have a great one and enjoy.
I had a Tuffy tailgate box and thought it was very useful. It rests on the floor of the bed so shouldn’t be a problem for the hinges. I didn’t have any sag with it. I replaced it with a Slipstream because I wanted to secure the entire back.

As someone who drives the elusive 2 door ( I feel like I never see 2 door JL's out an about ) I have had storage problems since I bought it and took it out on my first multiday trip on the trails. I randomly looked at Vector offload's website to see if they had released their storage shelf they've had for the 4 door for the 2 door.... AND THEY DID! I was so excited about getting this in, and just in time as I'm headed out to hit some trails this weekend. FedEx dropped it off an I practically ran downstairs with it to start installing it. Install was super easy, they have a video posted on their YouTube page that made the install a cinch. I will say, there was no instructions in the box, and there is a considerable amount of hardware, so it did take me a little bit to figure out which bolts when where. But, their YouTube video helps out some with this.

This was starting out.

Packaging was TOP NOTCH. Tons of styrofoam wrapping paper protecting everything really well, and PVC coating still on the aluminum.

Doing this solo required some ingenuity on how I was going to hold up the platform while getting it bolted into the brackets on the sides.

All attached, but missing the support brackets that attached to the sport bars.

Final brackets attached an everything tightened down.

Loaded up with a few quick things to load test it.

Bonus. Pretty sure EVERYONE on here has one of these now. An I feel like I'm the last person to receive mine even thought I ordered it as soon as it released. Took forever to get here.

Hey Matt, nice shelf but Is will it crumble God forbid an accident? I can’t tell from the picture. I hate to be negative but if a truck ran into you will that thing be a guilotine (<spell)? Just looking out for a fellow Jeeper.

I have never really looked at limb risers, so I have a few questions. Why do not push the limbs over the top of the windshield and with the rack on, do you still catch limbs back there?

Not my Jeep, but a buds Jeep. I swapped his tires off his Jeep, put my spare 37s on his Jeep, then dismounted his tires off his bead lock wheels and mounted new Cooper STT Pro 37x12.5R17 back onto his bead lock wheels. He should be over this afternoon so we can swap his new tires back on. It is hard to find a tire place that will dismount and mount deadlock wheels. The one that will charges $100 per tire. And hey I get it. It took me about an hour and fifteen minutes per tire to dismount and mount the tires.

Just know that if you are going to mount bead locks, it is not a difficult job, but it is time consuming.

As a joke, I am going to tell him no worries about having to re-torque the bead lock bolts, I used Loctite Extreme High Strength on each bolt!!!

This will wind him up a little bit. He knows exactly what it is. On a side note, when installing bead lock bolts, DO NOT use Loctite, use anti seize compound on the threads.

Small victory for me was I used anti seize compound on 96 bolts and did not get the stuff all over the place which in itself is a miracle.

The underside of your jeep is so clean, and given your upgrades I'm sure it sees plenty of offload action. How do you do it, or process? seriously looks brand new.
pretty much new, only has 600 miles on it. Been out two times so far on some trails.

ah, ok. Jealous of your king reservoir shocks! Off roading is a new thing for me and I read and hear about how bad dust, dirt and mud can increase rust when not cleaned off properly. I feel like I spend more time on my back under my jeep trying to clean up everything than I do washing and detailing the body and interior, lol.

Basically it's really just to protect the windshield in my case... I already belong to the "Broken Windshield Gang" and the reason I didn't attach it to the roof rack is the soft top will go on this summer or I drive around topless :giggle: a lot in the Summer...

I have had to remove a few branches from my roof rack after encounters with the "tree kind" :(...

So if any little thing helps to protect the Jeep then I figure I will try it :fingerscrossed:

Got the new rims in today. Still need to get the Jeep before I can put them on though!

Many of us have more sets of rims than we have Wranglers...

Also - those are darn sharp lookin' rims.
