After buying my Jeep new from the dealer 1 year ago the battery just died on me. I Installed an Odyssey battery. Just shocked that the battery only lasted 1 year....

My Mopar wheels arrived and I spent the day painting the rings.

I have the Spartacus also. I like it.

It's a great looking bumper. I'm happy with the quality for the bumper and ease of install. The nut welds in the inner bumper were all clean and aligned to receive the mounting bolts. I only had a little problem with getting the last mounting bolt in and tightened, but I think that was more me than the bumper as I had tightened most of the mounting bolts at the time. And the instructions say to leave all bolts loose until getting "ALL" bolts mounted... RIF. Also, If you have a Sort S, like me, don't forget to pick up 2 of the Mopar fog light brackets so your stock Sport S fogs install easily.

I run a USB power bank on the dash. It gets plugged into the Jeep dash 12v socket. I often bump the plug with my knee. Kind of pisses me off and the dash 12v socket is not powered when the Jeep is off. So it was a cold overcast normal Michigan day with not much going on. Time to fix my problem. First step tear the dash a part.

This take about two minutes.

Then drill a hole in the dash tray so that I can run the power wire through the top of the dash. Feed to power wire over the the passenger foot well, remove the glove compartment and make the wire connections. Put everything back together and problem solved.

The USB bank is powered all the time unless I turn the power off to the USB bank at the USB bank. Now if I am traveling and need to charge our phones, the GoPro camera, or a tablet or drone batteries while we stop for a while, it is no big deal.

Of course the big bonus is I will no longer hit the 12v plug with my knee. This was a simple mod and took about 20 minutes. I think I had more time in getting the right tools around, and electrical connectors, heat gun, electrical tape than I did doing the actual work plus the clean up..

My dealer is offering the Mopar lift for $2,000, installed. The lift normally sells for $1,400, which means they are offering the installation for $600.

She is going in next week.

Just some .02 ....... go out and measure from center to center on shock connecting bolts. Then measure again after lift. This will be an accurate way to see how much lift you actually get. This will determine if you need to purchase extra parts to make it drive sweet.

What size tire you going with? My guess is you will see about 3.5” of lift on Sahara. As @Roky suggest above you may be grabbing some additional items to get geometry corrected.

Wouldn't the abbreviated service life of the OEM battery quality for a warranty replacement? Or did you just want to uparmor your Jeep with the Odyssey unit?

A lot of people have had the same issues, myself included. I had both batteries replaced under warranty in April.

I love those rims (and color combination). However it does take a while to follow the bolt pattern on the rings and torque each one down...but the end result is definitely worth it!

I‘ve wanted these wheels since I got my Jeep and finally pulled the trigger.

Other than baking and delivering Christmas cookies, bolting the rings on the wheels *is* my weekend. I might have to watch LOTR while I do it

Mine was the same way. I replaced with the Northstar. All problems gone.

I’m zeroing-in on 35x12.5 General Grabber ATX.

It is a true 35-inch tire. I owned these Grabbers before; I was happy with them.
