What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Replaced the front dash corner speakers with Kicker 3 1/2's from Crutchfield ($70). Total install time was 10 min, tools needed trim removal tool and short Phillips head. Plug and play (after you splice the kicker harness into the Crutchfield supplied one) and they sound SOOOOO much better than OEM. The upgrade increases volume dramatically as well as sound quality. Well worth it!

they said it was a low voltage code from the gas pedal relay. Blamed it on my Pedal Commander. Anyone else ever had that issue?

The one i used was a black one similar to this. The black on is probably stiffer then this brush. However this is the design of the brush that you can put on a cordless drill.

I don't know how the mopar one is, but this bottom right corner was a real pain in the ass, because the frame is separated at the corner so you can have slack to bolt on the table, but once you have the table bolted on, you still need to screw in that final bottom corner of the base.

Once that nightmare is over then it's a breeze. I recommend a teeny tiny ratchet to make things easier.

I've read comments about the cable breaking or not being able to latch the hooks or rattles, but everything seems pretty sturdy and tight to me. Might just be a few bad installs.

Finished up the PRP seat covers. They definitely sent my a set with a manufacturers defect but I was able to make it work. Highly recommend these covers if you’re in the market for some.

What was wrong? I get mine in a few days.

Also replaced the tweeters in the roll bar with Quadratec Super tweeters ($129 and also plug and play) and the upgrades increase volume dramatically as well as sound quality. Total install for all 4 was 20 min taking my time. Well worth it!

I am not an expert but have read several vehicle user manuals that disagree with you and recommend recirculating the inside air for maximum efficiency. Keeps trail dust out too.

Very simple really. Numbers used are just for ease of explanation, and don't represent exact system cooling capacities. Air temp may drop by 20° Fahrenheit as it passes through the systems evaporator and into the conditioned space. Opening the outside vent allows for a constant change-out of new fresh air, but will consistently run at maximum capacity/load to pull 100° air down to 80°. Closing the outside vent causes the system to continuously recirculate cabin air through the evaporator. Every time a specific cubic foot of air passes through, it will become cooler than it was after the last pass. Eventually, the air temp will reach your chosen set point and the load on the system will drop to a maintenance level.

The hepa cabin filter will last longer if the outside vent is closed in dusty environments, assuming the cabin isn't filled with a dust cloud.
