MDI is one of my favorite places on this planet. My in-laws have a p;ace across the bay. It’s heaven out there.Well I will be in Maine again.... Sooner or later. I love watching Sunrise from Cadillac Mountain top. out by Bar Harbor. I was there a few years ago on my motorcycle to eat lobster and see the sunrise.
Before the Jeep, I motorcycled all 48 lower states.
Yes I removed the Stock Sway bar. I have heard from people that there is more flex. I have yet to test this out yet. This set up will still flex very well while preventing excessive body roll like I was getting when I disconnected my sway. So Far I am about a week into this install and haven't taken off road yet. I plan to start testing it out this weekend. So how does this work with the Rubicon? Did you take out your sway bar disconnect motor? Is it more flex?
I put on a sunrider about a week or so ago. I love it. I open it just about every time I drive my Jeep.Received and installed the Sunrider today. Took about an hour. Would have gone easier if I had taken the front Mopar grab handles off before I put the rails on. Ruby goes in Monday for the steering box TSB. Emailed my dealer with the TSB last week, they called me yesterday and had the parts and wanted to make a service appointment. No fuss, no questions. Good service is still out there.
@redsyphonInstalled Hood Struts and Lock. Very easy installs for both.
BOLT Hood Lock
Redline Tuning Struts
Love my Bolt Hood lock, it was a easy install that was until my son bought me a gift of a metal flag grill and they had not caught up to the hood-lock demand and I had to cut my own hole.@redsyphon
Well, you did your homework... you got the best hood lift offering and the best hood lock. Can't speak for the Bolt Hood Lock (has terrific reviews though by others here) but you will love the @Redline Tuning hood lift system, which I think is terrific..
Oh, in regard to the factory hood prop. You can remove that fuggly thing, easily...and put it in the shed... 8-)
Just unbolt the hood prop and the little yellow plastic prop grabber can be easily popped right off/removed without damage to it or hood, using a pry tool...
Katzkin black leather, red stitch, perforated center, and suede wings. It was a lot cheaper to order through my local shop than from the manufacturer.
Would you mind sharing how much this cost? Did you buy Katzkin separately and bring to your local shop?Katzkin black leather, red stitch, perforated center, and suede wings. It was a lot cheaper to order through my local shop than from the manufacturer.
If you don’t mind a small bit of residual shine on there afterwards, you can use Armor All Tire Foam. It does wonders for removing the browning from mine.I don't know what else to do. I want this brown crap off my tires.
Looking to get the brown off all the way first.. then followup with a good matt finish...If you don’t mind a small bit of residual shine on there afterwards, you can use Armor All Tire Foam. It does wonders for removing the browning from mine.
