installed tailgate reinforcement and a spare tire relocation bracket! My 35” spare doesn’t rub on my bumper anymore. Next step is to replace the rear bumper... the list never ends

I installed a 5 gallon Jerry can to the tailgate (DIY write-up here: Easy DIY Jerry Can Mount for $140). Once I thought through how to do it and assembled the parts, it only took about 90 minutes to install from start to finish, and now I won't need to make a trip back to the gas station with our fuel cans each time we go to the cabin.

This was out in Buena Vista. I’ll be in Ouray on Thursday. Plan Imogene and Ophir on Friday, Black Bear on Saturday, and Yankee Boy Basin to upper trailhead to climb Mt. Sneffels on Sunday.

We will be there mid day Saturday but not really sure what to run if I we have time. Our tentative plan is to run Ophir. Shoot me a PM. Maybe we can move our trails around to join y’all Sunday?

Took a quart of oil out of the pan. It seems they pulled the ole 6 quart fill on me prior to me purchasing it from the dealer. Removed the hard top and hoping to take it out to tomorrow with the family. Installed my sun shade as well. Getting real close to our Colorado trip so need to redo the wiring on my license plate bracket, add a brighter spare brake light, and install my cargo light.

Looks awesome! What lift and tires? I'm really digging that stubby bumper to!

Thanks! 2” Mopar Lift with 37” Patagonias. It’s a CavFab bumper. I like it minus the hooks. I may modify it after our trip.

Not sure where you ordered, but I had same issue. Rear was on backorder for like a month. Then I ended up finding it in stock on Amazon and had it in a few days.

Now I'm doing mods just to do mods. I think the pandemic quarantine experience is getting to me.

Today I swapped out JL grill mesh for Gladiator JT grill mesh. Although it opens up air flow which might be helpful down here in South Florida, it generates some flashbacks to the old JK days where you could see right into the radiator and cutting gutter guard from Home Depot. I may go back to JL mesh, or perhaps the bottom option which looks strange but might be the best of both worlds. Thoughts welcome!
