Copycat, but it looks so good! Not today, but last week, I finally got my shocks, took 3 months (covid) , but it was well worth the wait. These things are awesome! I haven’t got to wheel with them yet, probably this weekend. But I’ve been messing with them on the highway and all I can say is....wow! It’s sweet to be able to dial in the handling. I’m still messing with them but so far I’m liking less nose dive braking, and less squat accelerating. Corners like a stock car.
Also I got the ones for a 4.5-6” lift so I wouldn’t give up any extended length.
I've had the same shocks on mine for about two weeks and LOVE them. Curious how many clicks from full soft are you running the large knob? I'm at 4 clicks off full soft. Not today, but last week, I finally got my shocks, took 3 months (covid) , but it was well worth the wait. These things are awesome! I’m still experimenting, but right now I’m at 2 clicks on high speed, and 5 on the low speed.I've had the same shocks on mine for about two weeks and LOVE them. Curious how many clicks from full soft are you running the large knob? I'm at 4 clicks off full soft.
Chemical Brothers has different car care packages. Got mine off Amazon. They also have a bunch of videos on YouTube. I've been happy with their products.I'm still sticking to light stuff, planning on tackling more complex/spendy stuff soon enough. Pulled the Wrangler Sport stickers from both sides easy enough, but removing the dealership sticker was a pain - of course each letter was individually cut
Luckily the sun had beat on that spot all day, so though I had to scrape each digit off, they came simple enough. I then found they'd used something like triple the required adhesive, just to insure you made a nasty mess if you tried. So, ran to to the store and grabbed some goo gone:
While I was at it, I went ahead and gave her the inaugural home wash, and added another Easter egg or two of my own:
I know this may not be the correct place to ask, but what are y'all using for your cleaning care?
Looks awesome, and glad to hear of the improved ride! Look forward to hearing your off road thoughts. Not today, but last week, I finally got my shocks, took 3 months (covid) , but it was well worth the wait. These things are awesome! Man, I read this first thing this morning when my eyes and mind were still a little foggy. The C and L kinda blended together. And I was worried that I was in the wrong forum.I’m still experimenting, but right now I’m at 2 clicks on high speed, and 5 on the low speed.
Srayed 3M rubberized undercoating under the trunk and in the trunk (supposedly reduces noise).
Rebuilding salvadge Jeep, getting to the point of installing a tailgate.
Thanks brother......., no need for limit straps, my rrds were 29.5 extended, and these are 30.5. I pulled on the spring at full extension, and couldn’t budge it. These RK triple rate springs are pretty long.Looks awesome, and glad to hear of the improved ride! Look forward to hearing your off road thoughts.
Do you use limiting straps? Or, do you think they may be needed with your new longer extending Fox's? Lately, I've been wondering if I might need them when I upgrade my lift.
Allison transmissions in the 2500hd’ and 3500hd’s chevy and GMC pickups that have either the 8.1 liter big block or 6.6 liter Duramax diesels come standard from the factory with one. They commonly don’t get noticed and are thrown away with the Spin on filter by guys who don’t look at the old filter and peel it off to transfer it to the new filter.I'd have to see this.... Not something I would consider doing.
