What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Put in a little work on the new 3.0 today. I was hoping to get the lift and tires/wheels done first but some of those parts are apparently on back order thanks to COVID-19. Therefore, we got the drop steps, front bumper, and 12,000lb winch installed. We also got to enjoy the first topless ride.

It gets quicker the more you do it.

Leave the door nuts out if you plan on taking the doors off frequently. It’s the part that takes the most time, imo.

Does Sirius XM Radio still work if you switch out the antenna? I don’t like the ones they come with and would rather have one like yours.

XM has its own antenna up on your roll bar.

I’m not the OP but this antenna is only the AM/FM antenna. The XM radio antenna is mounted up top on the roll bar

$1200 installed for the JL Rubicon lift is INSANE. Retail price on the parts alone is $1995. My dealer is running a promotion right now with free labor but they are charging full retail on the parts.

Yup you are good to switch it out. Just be aware that the small stubby replacement antennas generally give less FM reception than the stock antenna does. It’s okay that you’re a girl that doesn’t work on cars lol. Doing this mod is easy

what took the longest was trying to remember how to disconnect the wiring harness plug on the back window and the front door wiring plugs are different then we’re on the 2018. had to look those up online.
