Borrowed another member's idea to paint the muffler and exhaust pipe flat black. Now underside is all black. Also, finally received my vanity plates.

I have the same Sahara wheels. I would like 35/12.5's.

A bunch of us, myself included, have put 35x12.5's on factory 7.5" wide wheels. The wheel being a bit too narrow isn't the most ideal for a tire wider than 11.5", but it's not by far a recipe for disaster. The narrower wheel causes the tire tread to run a bit more rounded out from side to side, which will lead to uneven wear unless aired a bit lower than normal and will also void any tire warranty from the manufacturer.

I suggest sticking to a C-rated tire, which is why I went with the bfg ko2 315/70-17's (a slightly smaller metric version of 35x12.5). Usually the 35x12.5's are only available in D or E weight ratings, which will ride harsher because they are meant for vehicles heavier than a wrangler.

Also a heads up. Tire choices are very limited for 18"wheels compared to 17's.

My understanding of the clutch recall is that adding the shield for the fuel and wiring is required to help prevent your Jeep from burning to the ground if the clutch scatters. It couldn’t hurt to get @JeepCares involved with your search for a better dealer to perform the recall.

I am working with Jeep cares on this matter currently. Katlin has been helping the best she can. Currently making sure they did the work that should have been done. If they don’t I will setup a different appointment to another dealership through Jeep cares so this gets handled properly.
