Yay! My wheels finally arrived. Been on back order since early March. Fuel Ammo Anthracite 17x9 (-12mm) mated to Goodyear Duratrac Wrangler 35x12.50R17s. With the Mopar 2.5" lift and the Reinforced Tailgate Carrier my JL is now configured to tackle my Colorado backyard.

Tazer JL Mini comes Tuesday to adjust speedo and TPMS Thresholds. Wow, I couldn't be happier the way this is coming together.

Good things come to those that wait. These wheels are way cool.

Jay

How are you liking the bumper. I'm leaning towards aluminum to keep things light.
Thank you very much! I saw someone else asked this question too, but how do you like that bumper? I think that is my runner up because it is light and I really like the way it looks as well.
Hi,

when I was looking at bumpers, I sent a list to my Jeep guy, and he responded, whichever one is aluminum, keep weight down at all costs. This was the only one in my list that was aluminum, so I got it. I think this bumper is great. I wanted a stubby, but my wife said no. And I don’t like full width, so this mid width was the ticket. Then, while the bumper is aluminum, it comes with a winch plate that is steel, and very high quality. I really wasn’t aware when I bought it, but it comes with a winch plate, it is required for the bumper to install onto the frame, so you don’t need to worry about the winch plate. The quality of the finish and powder coating was great, no issues at all. The only thing to watch out for, was that the online store I bought it from, sent a JK version, so my current fog lights were not plug and play. If you ensure you get a JL version, they will be. The online store and I negotiated a set of upgraded LED fog lights to fit the JK version they sent me. That’s the only thing to watch out for. This bumper is perfect for me, mid width, lighter weight, comes with the winch plate, and high quality. and for me to say that, means a lot, I am very picky. If I had to guess, I would bet that this is made in China, or elsewhere, but it was perfect in every way.

After our last night run with @gsxr310 seeing his rock lights. Today was the day to install mine. Super happy with the Lifetime LED 8RGB. Did a super clean install. Impossible to see anything until they get turned on.

I just ordered my new wheels! Teraflex Nomad in Titanium Gray. Ouch. Cry once, so they say. Now I'll have to save up for the tires I want.... not sure if I should go Nitto Ridge Grapplers or KO2s, or?

Finished quite a few mods the past few days. Great start to a vacation though. Installed a Rough Country dual steering stabilizer, new Oculous LED headlights, GT Momentum cold air intake, Smittybuilt seat covers, Bedrug headliner and Rough Country tailgate reinforcement bracket. Guess its Time to go back to work to pay off the credit card lol!

How is the ride and steering quality with the dual stabilizers?

The dual stabilizer definatly stiffens the wheel and helps with the bump steers when you hit a pothole. But took it off road the next day and the win for me Is the way it helps keep the angle when your approaching a incline.

Did lots... no pics though...

1) changed the oil in the pumpkins....
2) added an extension to the breather hose of the rear axle... snaked it up and tucked it in the right rear taillight housing on the tub.
4) couldn't find the front breather hose
5) made a rain cover out of tarp for the GPS and CB for those surprise rain days when going toppless...

That's about it....

Now I'm tired... Yawn!!!
Ohhh I forgot...I also had to get the jeep radio rebooted today..... last week I had a, what I can only describe as a power surge noise, come through the speakers, the radio went blank and the time resent itself after it remained dead for about 20 seconds. That was the second time it happened. Since I got the jeep....

They said it showed an error so they rebooted it..... we will see if it worked..... hopefully!

I REALLY musta been tired cause I keep forgetting what I did that day!!! (Maybe it senility?) I also adjusted my steering wheel! It had slightly shifted to the left after my Rubicon take off installation...was pretty simple to do....:handsinair:
