Put the Metal Rubicon Bumper on my Willys... attached a photo with the new bumper and the old one.

Cool.

I am thinking about doing the same swap eventually - I happen to like the look of the Mopar steel Rubi bumper over any of the after-market offerings. Did you beef the front suspension for that extra weight, or if not... is there a noticeable increase in rake?

My Recon had the black decals instead of the red bordered ones so I swapped them out. Much better imo. Before and after pics and a video. I like how at certain angles you can’t see the flag or the words in the black area

What is your take on the Bolt hood lock? Easy install? Does it seem to truly lock it down or just keep the honest people honest?

I love mine. Super easy to install too. Love the fact that it came with the middle grill piece that is the same pattern as the OEM to accommodate access to the lock. And of course the fact that you key it to your car's key was a major seller for me. DO IT!

Thanks! I did something similar in the Mustang I had previously.

No issues at all other than the tight fit getting the hole drilled. And just an inexpensive rubber grommet from Lowe’s to finish it off.
