I also did the same thing but I thought the 3/8 was to big so I put in 1/4 inch solid I think that 1/4 is the best fit
You guys aren't being any help! ;) I thought that I remembered "pony tail" suggesting the 1/4" hollow core, then a forum member suggested that 3/8" hollow core was better so that's what I ordered. I'm not crazy about it. It might be fine with the black plastic fenders but I have a billet silver jeep with matching fenders and I think that the 3/8" is too obvious. Was going to order the 1/4" hollow but maybe the 1/4" solid would be best. Decisions, decisions! (I guess with the low cost of the stuff I should just order both types and be done with it.)

Later,
Johnny

Are you still really liking this cargo mat? I was just thinking about ordering it.
I have one of these as well. It's a great mat. Have had it for over a year now.

I bought both 1/4" hollow and solid, I like solid better....

I previously had 1/4" hollow rubber between the body and fenders. Based on suggestions made on our forum I purchased 3/8" solid rubber. So I took off the 1/4" on the drivers side and left the 1/4" on the passenger side. I will monitor both sides to see what works best. An old guy doing a science experiment. LOL
Sounds good, keep us updated

Like many before me, I have finally taken the doors off for the first time, which once again made me say “in spite of having had better vehicles through the years, this is THE BEST AND MOST FUN”

I gutted the interior and installed Noico sound deadening material. I have a 2dr and 36sq.ft. was enough to do everything that’s with me doubling up on the rear wheel arches and doing the bottom of the sub woofer tray from underneath. I actually have about 1sq. ft. left over.

How do you like the B&M shifter? Looks good in your jeep.

Finally got the CavFab tire carrier finished up. Took me a while to figure out a wiring issue and the camera was displaying the blue screen of death. Finally got everything figured out and installed. Looks killer. Like to get it on the road some time this week for an alignment and see if the TC rattles around. Door shuts with authority now. Seems solid. Also never named a vehicle but I dig dub her “Christine” after she tried to cut off my leg.

Thanks, In short: I love them. The install video on YouTube is a little out of order and they don’t tell you how to adjust/tighten the shifter knobs (Had to check the directions) but yeah overall I love them.

How’s it sound (or ... not sound...)?
I haven’t got to drive it yet, I got most of interior back together and I had to stop for food and then decided to call it a night. I’ll get back with you after my first drive.
