What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Bought a Pypes exhaust delete. Was pretty loud and had a lot of resonance over 2,000 rpm, so I got this tip on eBay. Quieter (but still louder than stock) and the resonance is gone. Wanted it more to ensure I wouldn’t smash the stock on rocks, so I can take off this tip to off-road and then put it back on. Bought the cheapest one as didn’t know if it would work so it’s shiney, but intend on painting it.

Today Installed the JVC KW-M650BT headunit, I am amazed at how much better the oem speakers sound, the unit really livens up the sound. overall it was somewhat tedious job, couple downsides, the 650 does not have usb on the back, the 750 has a usb on the back, the backup cam doesn't work, trying to look for a fix for it.

That looks great! Which product did you use? Was there a lot of preparation need? Thanks!

Simple. I sanded the whole thing down with 220 grit and hit it with about 3 coats of hi-temp flat black.

Should bought a Seicane instead or some other Android Radio . You just need the module to make it work for the camera. It is in the forum

yeah thought about it, but would rather not risk it the money with an off brand head unit. The camera is not that big a deal, I'll keep on looking

I purchased the Rock Slide Engineering front bumper. The bumper appeared to be quality, although the powder coat seemed thin. After only 8 months of use the Rock Slide Engineering Bumper is rusting through the powder coat. My Jeep is always parked in the garage. The last winter in New England was very mild. The product is unacceptable for continued outdoor use. I recommend doing additional research and not purchasing Rock

Slide Engineering bumpers.

Wow that does seem to be an issue with quality control. Did you reach out to RSE customer service? I’d be curious to know what they had to say.

Installed Rock Slide Engineering rocker guards.

Whohoo! Installed my Bestop Freedom Top in place of my front panels on my Rubicon 2 dr.. Awesome! Stupendous! Very little noise increase and with just two handle pulls, I am in the wind. My dogs in the back seat are loving it too. Just my opinion but even though the 2 front freedom panels only have 5 latches each, man are they bulky, awkward, and take up a LOT of space if you carry them with you. My recommendation on the top...absolutely go for it!

Installed battery tender pigtail and bought an extension for wife's Jeep after having both batteries replaced under warranty due to dead cells.
