Braved the plague to get away from the kids and finally remove most of the stickers, especially the dealer stickers. I'm keeping the Jeep and Trail Rated to Plasti-dip later.
Still waiting for my Amfib snorkel...

Upgraded the single, stock tow hook to a set of new Rear Tow Loops by Maximus-3.

Installed a set of new ULTRA Bow Shackles by GearAmerica.

Also added some protection for the new tow loops and shackles.

Installed a set of new rubber shackle isolators and washers by Daystar.

Rinsed her off. Not ready yet for a full end of winter wipe down wash since the snow is still melting and there is plenty of road grime to come. It was getting pretty thick though.

Get the tailgate reinforcement kit. I recommend Mopar. I have it for my Milestar 38's. You are asking for trouble without one. Ignore my thumbnail photo, by the way.
I ended up buying the Rough Country tailgate reinforcement. I was going buy a knock off Mopar from eBay but the 1 piece design of the Rough Country one seemed like a better option.
Despite being a flat plate it's actually quite beefy and definitely adds strength to the tailgate.
I've gone on a few trails since and have noticed 0 flex or movement from the spare.

Found a cool GIF showing the mechanism in action...

In the mid-80s I had a Nakamichi Dragon with a 3-head auto-reverse. Apparently the Dragon has a cult following. Last I checked a used Dragon cost about the same as what they cost new back in the mid-80s and 90s.

If they're "loser" skids, why didn't you go with something better??

Don't forget to have them double check the oil level and rotate in the spare.
Before I left I confirmed 5 quarts. Didn't think of rotating the spare in time.
