Im pretty sure I can still be adopted.. I have 4 kids, plenty of grandchildren for you guys! Think about it!
That would be cool.

Me: Boy, get out here and help me turn wrenches!

You: No, I’m drinking Bud Light and cruising JL Forum.

Me: As long as your living under my roof!

Me: Bring me one of those beers on your way out to the garage.

Sorry I just saw your post, I have to say there is some wind noise that still comes from the front removable tops (very little) but not from the doors anymore. I will add seals to the tops to reduce that as well. Here's the link to Amazon's seals and you will need to order two sets (2 rolls per set ) to cover all doors
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0771T61VH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (2 orders). You will feel the difference too because it will be harder to close the door since the cabin is sealed now. You will need to make cuts and overlap 1/2-inch where the front tops come off the doors (marked it with red arrows) and where the rear top comes off as well (not shown but you'll see it), It is a cheap I will call it upgrade for the amount of wind noise it cuts off. I am happy with the results. You can try sealing the removable tops, I will and report the results here. Good Luck! BTW clean the surfaces with alcohol first.

I’d be the best son ever then haha

I’d help you after responding to posts on the forum and have one of my sons, your new grandsons grab us some beers!

It’s a win win!

Thanks, that’s exactly where I suspected better sealing needed to be done. Did you also apply some to the door itself?
not to the door because the factory seal is at the contact area with the frame

Many Thanks :)
They are GM emblems from a Camaro edition HOT Wheels , that’s actually the theme a life size Jeep Hot Wheels . I keep a couple dozen Hot Wheels in my Jeep at all times and when ever I park the kids are usually taking pics w/ their parents . So I pass on a 1/64 Jeep hopefully they will be inspired to build a life size one day.

Many thanks, :)
I wanted an old school wheel with a modern twist , they are actually US Mags . We had them powder coated and going to add a set of black spiked lugs.
Just for comparison here's a picture of my old JK. I like the way wheels looked in the 60s too.

Just fitted on my long waited 35x11r18 Duratracs on stock Sahara wheels (285/75/18). Super light too at only 60lbs.

Slowly my build is getting there.
Living in a metropolitan you have to learn to deal with the quirks that come with it.
Such as parkade head rooms, and city driving and parking.
I was going for a build that could in theory aim at the best of both worlds — Daily driver during the week and capable off-roader on the weekend.

These 35s are true to size and measure 35.1” un-mounted. No rubbing — these are absolutely the biggest tires you can fit on a stock Sahara wheel without spacers. Also light enough to not cause too much sluggishness on acceleration.

With a lift of exactly 2” over a stock Rubi. I’m literally just a hair under the overhead clearance bar of my parkade. And about a finger’s width under the garage beam pulling into my parent’s house. So in terms of vertical space, I’m calling it good.

You have to cut the honeycomb grill with the jl so the lights fit. Wasn’t wild about that part of the install, but it doesn’t look bad
Which I am fine with, but the JT honeycomb is larger than the JL. I asked quadratec and they didn't really give me a straight answer.

I’d give it a try. Best case scenario it fits. Worst case you have to trim a little.

I actually trimmed a little too much on my center light so the light was a little loose. I just wrapped some black electrical tape around it for a tight fit
