I went to my local CJD Dealer in Garner NC to have my driver's side soft top top panel (driver side rear corner) replaced. Lost the first one on Thursday night while I was driving at or below posted speed limit top up window's up and Loud bang it was gone. It was a work zone with barriers so no chance to stop. APRIL a service person at the CJD was great it was covered by warranty. 1150 miles -1 windshield and -1 soft top panel what's next? :)

Made a little rubber cover for the fog-light wiring opening of the steel front bumper

Rims look awfully similar to mine....... They'll get beat up quickly. Rim edges have some chunks gouged out of them from the trails. Bumpers look like a similar breed also. You have very good tastes.

Added Westin Oil Pan skid. Painted it red to match the other skids i have as well. Pretty simple install and the price was right.

And no, i don't expect the paint to survive should the plate get hit, but I've got plenty left to touch it up.
Pentastar or Turbo? Looks like a nice beefy plate with good coverage!

I have the same parts from Maximus-3. Make sure a D-ring pin can pass through the d-ring loops. For me the finish on the loop was a little too thick and I had to grind it down some. Might want to check now, ahead of needing them on the trail.
Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to check!

Pentastar. Very beefy plate, definitely feels like it could take a decent beating.

My wife changed her windshield sunscreen, the Minions faded away...

Don't mind the dirty hood, it's my attempt of adding testosterone to an otherwise estrogen laden mod.

Installed mount for my 10lb Power Tank, got it filled, and tested it in the bracket. Wish I could find a decent way to keep the metal strap from flopping when there’s no tank in there. I don’t expect to drive around all the time with the tank mounted.

"Few things this weekend, added a decal, got the tires rotated and balanced, added Energy Suspensions spare tire bumpers, hit 10k miles, got my first rock chip and got it fixed this morning."

Glad you got that chip before it expanded! Before my appointment to get mine fixed it cracked to two edges of the windshield....and my wonderful Progressive insurance only does free repairs so they will have me use my $500 deductible....seeing as replacments go for $479 why even bother with the insurance...SMH.

You could cut a piece of PVC pipe a couple of inches wide and use that. If the pipe is too small, glue some closed cell foam around it. If it is too big, slice lengthwise at 1/8" intervals until you have the right diameter you are looking for. Hope that made sense and hope it helps you, good luck.

@mikej didnt your tank come with the handle, to protect the valve? I also thought I would only keep the tank in the jeep when I needed it, but keep it in all the time?

Is your strap black?
