Installed the soft top all by myself. Thing was super heavy! Hardest part was stretching out the fabric to close the top. Took around 1.5 hours.

Yesterday, finished installing Warn winch plate and Zeon 10s.

And today, got new tires and wheels!

I don’t care what else you do to your Jeep.
Nothing changes the look as much as tires.

I’m just a punk. I’m thrilled with my 33.1s which replaced my 30.5s.

But both of my next-door neighbors, neither of whom have Jeeps, noticed and commented on my cool new tires.

I swole plumb up with pride.

I received my winch today and proceeded to install it tonight. I have a relay to install in line, but didn’t get it done tonight, wired it direct so I could get it wound. Still need to pretension the cable also. I leave for Colorado on Saturday, lots to do.

Installed a matte vinyl hood blackout from @pixeldecals a couple weeks ago but took my time forming an opinion about it. Verdict: I love it!

Some people have said these blackout decals make the glare worse. I don't agree but I believe I understand why they say that. The matte vinyl will diffuse the light across its surface. If you look directly at the hood then this could seem like it's brighter than the hood is without the blackout. However the blackout prevents light from focusing and reflecting directly into your eyes giving you a blinding glare or hot spot while looking at the road, so it's working exactly as I hoped it would.

Another great feature of the pixeldecals blackout is that the vinyl goes completely under the windshield tie down brackets for an extremely clean look. Most hood blackouts have holes cut out around the tie downs. That wouldn't be as noticeable on a granite or black Jeep but would make a big difference on most other colors. Having the vinyl go under the tie downs does complicate the installation quite a bit as you need to remove the tie downs by first pulling the hood insulation off, and that stuff is pretty fragile and prone to tearing and held on by several clips, but it is definitely worth it.

I have a hood blackout from @pixeldecals on mine too (although a power dome hood)... it's fantastic!!!! Some think it's just a superficial mod, but it is totally functional too - reduces glare off of hood to almost nothing. And it looks awesome

Well...first, I went to the dealer and took delivery of it ("it" being a 2019 Sport 2 door). Drove it home, and stripped out the rear seat and the front headrests.

It's done.

Installed my Lange Coyote mirrors.
Waiting on 'em myself... I read a lot of good things about these (and Motor City, but I settled on Lange). I tried a pair of Barricades and they shake enough to give you vertigo. They gotta go.
