I also finished up the install of the PRP seat covers. They came out better than I expected.

Q: Are most people installing seat covers for asthetics or protection? If protection is it just protection in general or something specific like water?

Just got my baby this past Monday...Not a avid off roader so my mods are pretty conservative (living in CT doesn’t help- No off road parks)...Mine didn’t come with any step to I went with the Barricade Enhanced Rubi Rails which add really nice protection and cover up that pinch seam..I also replaced the hood latches, swapped ol’ crazy twisted wire antenna with a stubby, and added Rugged Ridge sill guards...Oh and I added a hula girl as tribute to the one I had in my old TJ

What steps are those? I like em
@Taurian Ditto on the steps. Are they body mounted or frame mounted?

I LOVE my @ACE Engineering frame mounted sliders which incidentally serve as steps. They've been rock solid and the finish has been very durable ... even when sliding on rocks ... go figure. But, the additional flat tread on yours would be a little more practical for my passengers.

installed the Rugged Ridge tube doors...dealing with misc. issues that was already posted by others. The door strap is too long, so I twisted it 4 times to shorten it. Also the passenger side has a mild rattle. Other than that we are happy with the purchase. EDIT: quick fix if you have a rattle, small grommet size of the stopper and a small screw to hold it in. RR needs to send appropriate stoppers for future buyers. But this fix to me personally, its done and haven't thought about it since.

Finally assembled and used Top Lift Pro. Love it other than two design issues. One, redesign the uprights to give more room for hood clearance. Rolling with a stock JL Rubicon and could move the lift in another foot except for clearance issues. Two, pawl travel is restricted by short handle and cable movement. Give it some more play as very fine adjustment is needed for correct functioning.

TLP also suggest placing locking wheels on front which makes them inaccessible when rolled under the jeep. I'd suggest installing locking wheels on the back unless there is an unknown safety issue I'm not aware off. I might move them when I get the energy or purchase a second set of locking wheels from TLP.

Glad I have the two door, still have room to work at my desk even with garage door closed.

For me, it was a little of both. I have cloth seats with messy friends and family. I also always get caught in storms with the top off, so anything helps. I really liked the look of these covers, and they were cheaper than getting katskinz.
How is it so far with these and heat? I skipped on leather because of heat (Phoenix). Right after I ordered my Jeep we got word that our little crawler was on the way. I'm looking at seat covers to protect everything when he starts going wild back there in a couple months. Thinking of pulling the carpets out too, while he's really young at least. I love the color schemes I can get to match up with Mojito, but I'm scared what these will feel like when it's 115.

finally got to install the tube doors...dealing with misc. issues that was already posted. The door strap is too long, so I twisted it 4 times to shorten it for now. Also the passenger side has a mild rattle, little bit of weather stripping to pad the strike area solved it. Will hit Lowes later for misc. hardware solution. Other than that we are happy with the purchase.

Just a little silly thing, upon the wife’s request, I down sized my banner. But I’ll have to agree with her this time, I think it does look better.....
