Love the Rubi flares, did you get the OEM kit or find someone selling a used set?

bought a set from my local dealership: with shipping, it turned out to be a bit cheaper: and I can definitely see why. box was only about 20 or 30 pounds, but was 8'X3'X2.5'. Had to take the flares & liners out to get the things in my jeep

Thanks for the link! It's a great idea to add the XR flares at the same time since we have to build the fenders out anyway. Right now I haven't had any issues off-road with the stock Sport fenders and the Rubi suspension with 33's, but I think I'll need the high-clearance fenders if I upgrade to 35's.

sure - probably only relevant to those that reside in rust belt or midwest to help prevent corrosion underneath from salt and other winter chemicals... great to coat the undercarriage with lanolin (woolwax) before frame is in contact with foreign elements/chemicals.

I was going to do a video of setting up the progun with compressor and the application underneath but it became to tedious constantly finding a safe camera angle since jeep is only on jackstands and not lifted..... you can get the oil in spray cans (fluid film) or 5 gallon tubs (woolwax) to setup with compressor

much easier w/ a lift but not very difficult for DIYers but can be a bit messy -

but all explained here for those that care......

Went to start it this morning and no crank. I knew this day was coming, as start/stop quit woking over a year ago. Replaced both with a Super Start Platinum (East Penn) form O’Reilly’s. $347.00 with tax, damn!

I had to bench charge to 100% first, because that’s what I do. So, they go in late tomorrow morning. I went through the top. I found it to be a non issue as far as time and complication. Took about 20 minutes to get them both out. I expect about the same going back together.

Changed mine out a month ago, no way was I going to run that aux battery anymore, I'm fairly certain it was the culprit for my main dying out. Just that simple fuse 52 pull and removal of that aux negative, and my Tazer to keep the ESS off and I should be good to go for 2x as long as before

That’ll be next. I haven’t got around to getting a Tazer yet and just wanted it back up and running.

I changed the main battery to an H7, group 94R with 800 CCA, a huge improvement over the stock battery at 650 CCA. Let’s see if they last 3 years. Yes, I’ll have this Jeep then, and for many years after.
