Are you worried about the extra weight on the tailgate hinges?
The box itself is made out of 1/2” plywood and only has about 7 pounds of “gym stuff” in it, so I’m hoping the extra weight isn’t too much that it would affect the hinges in a drastic way. Also, I lost 5 pounds when I swapped out the stock tires, so there’s that.

Ok, my first thought was tools of the heavy metal variety, lol. Looks like a great spot for my wrench bag and impact socket bag, except the weight issue.

Yeah it’s a great spot to store stuff, but it’s my DD, so I just need random crap in there to prevent me from having random bins sliding around the cargo area. When I’m in need of carrying real gear, I’ll take that box out and put the heavier items in bags for the weekend. Plus, I’d have more room to put stuff as I’d take the rear seat out.

I’m just glad I don’t have a smaller and more expensive metal box back there rattling around every day.

Weather is all over the place for the next couple weeks so I put the top back on.

Hopefully in the next couple weeks it’ll come off again until mid-April

I just got my 2 door Willys a couple of days ago, and just minor changes planned for now. So far I've:

removed the back seats
installed my Offroam phone mount
added grab handles for my wife
removed the "Wrangler" and "4 Wheel Drive" decals
added a screen protector
deflated the overinflated tires

Still to go is the Tuffy console security safe and possibly the Mopar fuel door.

Congrats! Did you push all your fuses in by chance?

Sadly not much lately. Still recovering from minor surgery on one of my fingers and haven't been allowed to do much for the past couple of weeks. Once I'm cleared I've got a Pedal Commander and an S&B Intake to install.
