Still better than taking it to the dealer, having to wait, then wondering what they may have done wrong :(
A little hazmat cleanup is no biggie, great tradeoff TBH :)
I don’t have the time currently for heading to the dealer. I have 3 Jeep Wave oil changes still. Honestly, I cannot recall the last oil change I did myself, it’s been many years. None the less, it isn’t difficult and is gratifying doing it myself.

Went to big bear to meet a friend for some trails. Sadly got stuck in a decent mud puddle. 10’ short of a tree for self recovery, I had to use a shovel and some sticks/logs to get footing and reverse out. Having a second vehicle would have saved about 30 mins. Oh well. Cruised over to a buddies house to grab him and his rig for a run at John Bull. Well his jeep had some mechanics failures in the driveway and had to tap out. Decided to go up gold mountain since I was running solo. Beautiful day up there even if it was raining the whole time. My Jeep crushed it, got slightly stuck a couple times but nothing I had to get out and inspect. No spotter either. Just a fantastic trail, did the John Bull east tail too. It’s the super easy difficulty 1 rated trails that will get you. I got stuck on one and had water roll over the hood on another. Good times.

Going to foam gun her and install visor clip protector things for preventative care, stubby antennea, and my personal fav, remove the back seat.
What is the "foam gun" thingy you are talking about?

Those any smaller than the factory lugs? The factory lugs stick out pretty far and, uhh, let's just say they're not exactly happy about making friends with rocks...
They are basically the same in that regard. But they are far better quality being a single piece unlike the factory 2 piece with metal core with a sleeve over the top.

Thanks for the info! So now decision is, decap the stock lugs to avoid crushing more caps, or move to single piece...

I'd just get the black "system" lug set from Gorilla, have a large 60 degree seat, look good, and hold up well, and being a locking set will hopefully deter thievery.

I'm not overly worried about thievery - the Jeep lives in a locked garage unless we're out and about with it. It's a third vehicle so it's mostly in-town stuff to keep it run consistently and wheeling trips, not a lot of opportunity for thieves. But, the one-piece lugs hopefully holding up to my apparent inability to not shove wheels into the side of rocks is definitely a plus.
