Can I ask what brand that kayak carrier is? Are you happy with the results?
That is friggin' sublime! Well done and those new gears/axles should be a perfect setup!Got my 4.88 spicer gears, rcv front shafts and spicer chromoly rear shafts installed this week. Northridge 4x4 in slc did a great job. Have about 120 miles on them so far.
I can't speak to the chromoly goodies, but the gears are perfection. IMHOThat is friggin' sublime! Well done and those new gears/axles should be a perfect setup!
rhino rack Tbar.A bit expensive but it does trickCan I ask what brand that kayak carrier is? Are you happy with the results?
I think it looks good as it is. But if you ever intend to install heavy bumpers, winch and skids. Then the XR suspension will be nice to have.I put some new wheels and new-to-me K02 315/70/r17 tires on today. Wheels are quadratec Baja Extreme IIs. The tires came along as a package deal with the Extreme Recon lift thats going on this weekend.
edit: IDK, what do you guys think? Seems like it’s sitting pretty well without the XR suspension?
I'm a huge fan of these wheels and looking to get a set later this year. AEV's marketing makes them out to be a godsend to the JL platform:New AEV SAVEGRE 2s
I love them. I think they look unique compared to all the other black wheels out there. No issues with the tpms sensors. As far as the finish, I've not taken the jeep off road yet. I have a trip planned to AOAA at the end of Sept so we will see how the finish holds up. Check out the following video to see what other owners have said about the finish. . If you do a lot of rock crawling, the finish on these wheels may not fare well. Having said that...i love the wheels...the way they look....no difference in the ride. Although they are about 10lbs heavier than the stock Willys wheels.I'm a huge fan of these wheels and looking to get a set later this year. AEV's marketing makes them out to be a godsend to the JL platform:
"The Savegre II features a JL/Gladiator-specific offset of +25mm, which works perfectly with the various OE fender flare styles and provides the optimal balance of tire clearance, scrub radius and handling."
Now that you've had them for a month, how do you like them?
-How's the ride?
-Any issues with the tpms sensors?
-Is the matte black finish holding up?
-Would you recommend them or suggest something different?
