I wired my trailer lights to a cigarette plug and use the rear 12v socket when I am hauling something, unplug it when I'm not. Mostly because I was too lazy to route a 12v line bow to stern for the once in a blue moon I hook up a trailer to my Jeep.
My christmas lights kept turning off on their own every 20 minutes or so. Don't know why, but if I cycled the ignition off then on, they worked again. Also charged power screwdriver with no problem.
Nothing special, just your basic Ghost Busters proton pack for capturing ghosts:
...and yes, I did cross the stream for a second with a friend's proton pack.
In this 1 second of time, the Ford Bronco had helped win WW II and enjoyed a 80 year legacy while Stellantis had just embarked on releasing the Wrangler to the public.
We turned off our proton packs and things reverted back to normal.
Sounds like there’s a fairly wide range of items that the outlet can power. I’m planning on plugging in an air pump for an inflatable mattress while camping. I’m glad to know it can power much more than that, thanks everyone!
