Its that time of year, tops and doors are coming off! I live in Oklahoma where we get pop up rain storms this time of year so I am looking at cab covers in case of emergency. I see Quadratec and Mopars options look really similar but quadratecs are less than half the price of the Mopar option.

What do you recommend?

I checked out their site yesterday but because they don’t have any pictures with JL covers. Seems was a little concerning. I would be interested to hear from any owners, the construction seems good.
Somebody here is bound to have one. The JK guys love them.

The OEM premium soft top for me.
How fast can you get that soft top up? Im not going to buy a soft top but I suppose that is one good thing about them...they go with you.

Probably like 30 seconds or less to get it into safari mode. Once you get the hang of the windows, it probably only takes another min or two to get everything buttoned up fully.

There are entire threads about this cover. Below is one...

I bought this one because it will cover the soft top in the down position as you can see in this thread. I have not had to use mine yet, so I don’t have any pictures of my own. The Mopar one will not completely cover the back with the top down. I’m not sure about the Quadratec version.

I bought one at the end of last summer. The quality is there. I wanted it to be able to take with on longer trips so I can leave the windows and doors home. I don't know about the other brands, but this one is heavy and stiff. when rolled back up it is about the size of a standard sleeping bag roll.

To be honest, I started last summer with a canopy cover from a 10x10 sporting good store model. It worked quite well except not completely covering the door openings.

You can find lightweight fabric that is waterproof online. I was thinking of dusting my ex wife's sewing machine off and try my hand at it.

My 2 cents.
