Upgrading to 4.88s and there's plenty to choose from but interested to know the most trusted ones.

Why not go with genuine Dana/Spicer gears. Same company that makes the axles

I was between Yukon and revolution. I ended up going with revolution gears

Definitely Dana. And make 100%, absolutely sure you get the Dana rebuild kit as well. Yukon is shit.

I ordered Dana Spicer 4.88 rear gears along with the Dana master install kit and Dana Chromoly axles (waiting on backordered right rear axle). In the front, decided to go with Dana's UD44 w/4.88's.

I got Dana Spicer. Price was about the same and they come etched with the info to get the pinion depth super close for a possible first time go on backlash.

Helpful if you’re doing it yourself and also if you don’t want the tech beating your pinion race out and back in to change shims over and over.

I ordered Yukon.

Why is Yukon shit?
They just don’t fit like the Dana do. And the rebuild kits are terrible. I think it’s just overall quality and tolerances.
