I just bought a 20 4 door LJ Sport 2.0..

I'm already considering re-gearing to accommodate the larger tires. I've been seeing M200 & M220.. I assumed I had the 30/35 package, but now I'm not sure. Are those compatible for gearing?

Thanks-

All the sports come with M186 fronts which is equivalent to Dana 30. If you have limited slip you have the M220 rear which equals Dana 44 if not you have the M200 which is the Dana 35.

So, if it's M220, can D44 gears go in there? or M200 & D35 gears?

I guess the first question should be what size tires?

FWIW- the 2 axles can easily be identified by the location of the drain plugs. The drain plug on the M200 is directly in front of the diff cover at the lowest point on the housing...it points straight down.
The M220 is in front of the casting web and points straight out the driver side...not down.
