Guess there is a few of us with Vespas! Although I have a Harley and and Indian, I never miss an opportunity to take the Vespa out for a spin. This one is a GTS 300 ie. It's got a larger bore piston/cylinder (275cc), mild ported & polished aftermarket high flow head, big cam, aftermarket transmission, up-geared final drive, tuned exhaust, chromed 13x3.5 wheels from a scooter that wasn't sold in the US (stock wheels are 12x3), and tons of other chrome. I'm currently working on a custom tune... there isn't really any decent aftermarket support for the early Vespa fuel injection systems.
When it was stock with just an exhaust I had it going 91 MPH (bumping off of the 9500 RPM rev limiter). I'm thinking 100 might be possible now...
