While I was having fun with guns I decided to pull out the CMMG Banshee - also in .45ACP - and swap out the EoTech 512 optic for a slightly smaller Vortex Sparc.

Tomorrow I'll be sighting all three of those firearms.

Had a couple of small projects I wanted to do this morning with my Springfield Armory 1911s.

First up...the Champion Operator got some new G10 grips & a lower profile Bomar style rear sight from Springfield.

Then I got out the Trophy Match and put G10 grips on it as well.

I have over 75,000 rounds through my Springfield Trophy Match pistol. It does not have the highest round count, but it is my favorite to shoot.

Well I finished up the Solar on the hood of my Buds JLUR today.

OK....next to vehicles and weapons, this will look mega weird, but...

I did a reset on the cages for my last four intakes...a blue and gold macaw, a greenwing macaw, a yellow nape amazon, and an umbrella cockatoo. Installed new ceiling toy hangers for a 50 year old pair of macaws, a greenwing and a hyacinth. Also prepped space for four intakes scheduled for tomorrow...two conures, an amazon, and a yellow collar macaw.

OK, I have a jeep, and I have a few guns. They all do what I need, so I dont fuss with them.

But, people keep getting parrots, and then doing stupid stuff like getting old, or dying, or losing their homes.

Currently 67 birds in the shelter, four coming tomorrow. I've placed about 1200 for adoption over the last 25 years.

Keeps me pretty busy.

Decided to work on the JK. I have had this J8 Master cylinder and booster laying around for a while.

Put some new 37s on my daugthers Jeep for her birthday.

Well, I am sharpening my Viking vintage sheep head axe. I have cleaned it with chemicals and it is now ready for forging. Forging is the best way to sharpen the weapons.
