Lets face it. We cant always work on our JL's so if you have a cool project going on why not share it. It can be home DIY or fun stuff from your other rides.

For me today was a busy day. I worked on all three Jeeps and washed the motor home. The JK got a new J8 brake booster and master cylinder. The JL got some new speakers nothing super exciting.

Had to make some Quick release mudflaps for the YJ. Its just a fix it ticket but if you can put them on right away they generally let you off. Of course they will stay behind the seat at all times until needed.

Used some 1 inch square tubing to make the mount.

Coated them with Raptor liner and mounted the Flap and called it beer time!

The driver seat was a bit high in the YJ so i cut and sectioned the seat mounts to drop it 2 inches. The right side is the stock ones.

Kind of hard to see in the pictures but you can tell the seat height vs the pass seat. Ill get to that mount another day.

I put brakes on my buds 2019 Cherokee Trail Hawk. The interesting thing is I had to go into the setting on U-Connect and tell the Jeep that I was servicing the brakes, then I had to unhook the negative battery cable from the battery to change the rear brakes. When the brakes were done, I had to tell the Jeep via U-Connect that I was done servicing the brakes.

I'm also rebuilding a 1993 YJ, 4 cyl, 5sp, " Rust Bucket".
Old frame, which broke when I picked it up, everything stripped off and transferred to a really good frame

they most certainly did. There is a stepper motor that applies the rear brakes..... the parking brakes. In the Wranglers, and every other car that I have put brakes on over the years, have just used a manual cable type lever or pedal to apply the parking brake. In his Cherokee, you flip an electrical switch and the stepper type motor applies the parking brake.

Today, I am installing a solar panel, solar controller, a 206Ah Lithium battery and a bluetooth shunt on my buds off road teardrop camper. If time permits, I will also install a solar panel on the hood of his JLUR with a solar controller.

We are trying to get ready for a big trip. Not an LSD trip, but still hope to see some crazy stuff...... LOL>

Nothing nearly as exciting as you guys. Taking the soft top off and putting on the hard for winter.

Had a couple of small projects I wanted to do this morning with my Springfield Armory 1911s.

First up...the Champion Operator got some new G10 grips & a lower profile Bomar style rear sight from Springfield.

Then I got out the Trophy Match and put G10 grips on it as well.
