Never use Windex on tinted windows. Use one formulated for tint.

Edit: I'm pretty sure you can use the ammonia free Windex. It's the ammonia you want to avoid.

I can't remember the name but most all window cleaner that comes in a can and sprays foam is good. I use newspaper to clean and the windows are so clear I can not see the glass

You could be like my husband today. After I washed my Jeep he says "here I'll dry it". He drives around the country block and brings it back filthy with bugs  lol men:like:

Alcohol doesn’t leave any streaks and gets the invisible grease off the glass...works like magic!

Windex makes a couple of different formulas. Try cleaning with a microfiber also.

I have tinted windows. Personally I use Invisible Glass. Have been using it for years on tint and no problems.
