Loaded Sahara, I was offered By three different dealers invoice +$500, invoice, and invoice -3%. The low one seemed to be employee pricing, with a couple hundred added in? Straight up order from production, no trade in. I haven’t bought a new car in 17 years, or had a loan for over 15 years, so if they have the 0% still when I take delivery I might do that just to get some installment loan history on my credit report And stay a little cash rich during these troubling times.

SW Florida, just got a quote on a 2021 Rubicon Unlimited, Diesel.
MSRP - $64,735
$60,743 + $500 dealer = $61,243

5.4% off MSRP, can't seem to find anything better in this area. ill bite the bullet tomorrow unless someone in SW FL has a better deal suggestion?

Hey guys. I'm in Central Jersey.

Debating if to replace my 12 year old JK (Rubicon, manual, half doors, 37" tires, 4" lift, and numerous other mods) with a new JL. Willing to drive to NC, VA, MA for 8% below invoice. I have the Tread Lightly code (I actually have two). I just can't believe what I want would be around $53K, assuming 7-8% below invoice, and this is for a manual, no fancy LED headlights, no steal bumper, no color matched fenders, no safety groups. My 2008 JK was loaded new for under $40K if I remember correctly. And so many defects on brand new JLs. Hard decision.

I contacted several Jeep dealers for the best price on the 2021 Rubicon configuration I wanted. I had what I thought was a fair deal worked out with a local dealer. $3650 off an MSRP of $55,710. We had a call scheduled for 10am Saturday to complete the deal and put a deposit on my order.

I received a text message and email from Koons Jeep in Vienna, Virginia around 9am Saturday . I called them to try one last time to get a better deal and I’m glad I did. I talked to Scott Wasserman, explained my current deal then sent him my build sheet. He got back to me in about 15 minutes with a better deal, 7.5% under invoice! I was skeptical as I heard about the fees dealers add after giving you a great price on the Jeep.

Even with the $899 dealer processing fee Scott beat my current deal by $2250. Scott saved my just over 10% off MSRP! The other dealer said they couldn’t match the deal.

Scott made the order process very easy after answering all my questions and ensuring me the price he gave me is exactly what I’ll pay when I pick up my new Rubicon. I placed the order with a $1,000 deposit. I have a VON and should have a VIN assigned by Wednesday! I’ll be driving from South Jersey to Virginia in 6 to 8 weeks to pick up my new Rubicon!

I highly recommend Scott. He made this super easy, no bs. Just a great deal, no haggling and explained the entire process prior to me placing the order. This is his number: 301-300-1799.

They don't call it a tax but Delaware has a 4.25% document "fee" based on the purchase price.

I don’t know how anyone can give an accurate answer unless it is a straight cash/no-trade-in deal. I guess if the trade in is for cash, for buying a car or not, you could call it legit, but there still could be shennagins. Also, you have to include doc fees, that’s a no brainer.

I also wonder if it varies by model and area. I got three price quotes on the exact same build. One was $1500 less than the others. The guy who had given me a test drive was in the middle and I offered to let him meet the price of the low bid, and he didn’t even counter. He just said no. Kind of really surprised me.

I got 3% under, and considering that the two other offers were actually above invoice, I consider that a pretty good deal. I am in sales, I know that I could have pushed more. All I know is that I save myself a couple grand off of just going to the local dealer. That was my definition of success. I didn’t have to go into how exactly we were financing the car, which I know would allow some more movement on the price. Frankly the deal I went with was so much blow the other ones, I figured there was going to be some kind of last-minute shenanigans. But there weren’t. Maybe someday when I have plenty of time to buy a car and I am bored I’ll take it to the wall. But I was happy with my OK deal.

We ordered a JLURD at MSRP of $54k. Dealer pricing, with treadlightly discount and using in house finance, is $47k. So either 8% under invoice, or 13% under MSRP, however you want to look at it. Of course there is a $499 doc but its the only fee, so really its 7% under invoice out the door.
This dealer doesn't collect taxes, if you are an out of state buyer, so we are going to have to settle up with our local tax man when we make it home.

Was offered a Rubicon 4xe at 7% under invoice. Numbers worked out to $51,698.70 (leather, cold weather group, color matched fenders, black hard top). The issue was the requirement that in order to get this, you had to accept financing 75% of the vehicle price ($38,774.03) or else your deal moved to 5% under invoice.

Long story short, the $38774.03 number to be financed is over $500/month for 84, which I don't have any interest in doing.

A dealership local here has a gorgeous 3.6L Rubicon, and when I inquired, they promptly told me that they wont move a penny off that vehicle from what is listed online ($55k), which reminded me why I go to Maryland and VA to buy vehicles.
