So I was installing rock rails on my Jeep and saw these on both the driver and passenger sides. They’re like some sort of metal bracket in the frame, under the front fenders. Was something supposed to clip on to these? I don’t remember these on my JK 🤷‍♂️

They’re just captive nuts. The tabs hold them so you don’t have to get a wrench on them.

Same thing in a few other places on the suspension, including the stock track bar axle side.

Thanks! I bought my Jeep as a used CPO and wasn't sure if things were missing from it.

Well...some people call them flag nuts but clearly they are disguised as flag nuts because if you turn them counterclockwise they increase your horsepower by 50% but only if you have an aftermarket catch can installed because it effects the McClucken gear box that’s connected to the Flinkenhauer manifold. rides just like stock though.

I could be wrong though and they’re just boring ole flag nuts.
