I’m sure that those of you who have been serious off roaders for a long time have gear that you never go wheeling without. What is it? Of course there’s the very basic stuff, but what do you keep in your Jeep that you’ve found useful that might not be something that everyone would think of?

What about your road side emergency kit? Whatcha got?

Could you please take pics of your mobile winch, tree strap, electric jack and mobile compressor?

I wish I could, but I'm in Las Vegas and I don't have any access to my equip.

Google mobile winch's/nylon tree saver straps/2k/4k electric jacks/"Q" dual 12vdc compressor(Quadratec)-

That'll give some good choices-

Good luck

Does anyone know of a spreadsheet/doc/whatever that lists the most common bolt/torx/etc around the Jeep? I bought one of those roll up tool bags I'm just not sure what all to put into it. I want a "working on my jeep" bag I can just pull out with everything.

I installed my lift myself and had to buy a ton of tools so I'm sure I've got like... everything now.

What inspired replies to a 4 year old thread?

I got my Jeep in January of 2019. Since then, I’ve got all of my gear now, thanks.:like:

Looks like someone brought it back to life in mid-June… regardless, no time like the present to share what you stocked your kit with @Chocolate Thunder! 🤪

Check out your local Harbor Freight. They have reasonably priced tree straps, D rings and such.

I am a proponent of soft shackles. But I carry D rings too. Don’t for get a beer can and duct tape. Makes for a great temporary fix on hoses.
