Seconded.

Why buy a Rubicon for resale value? Once you start driving it, you will not want to sell it. That said, I liked the parts you get with the Rubicon. It's a fine choice, but anything you get will bring a smile. Enjoy the choices, and ponder for a bit... then go drive your new toy.

First off, welcome! Jeeps are a lot of fun.

Second, a piece of advise, do with it what you will. Don’t buy a Jeep modded by a dealer. They will charge 6 times what the mods are worth, and usually use cheap, crappy parts. And if you are buying from the Frisco dealership, take along a jar of Vaseline. You’ll need it.

In the words of my wife when I was going back and forth between Rubicon and Sport S. "Just get the Rubicon. If you don't get it, you'll always wish you had."

I got the Rubicon.

BTW, you can put 35s on the Rubicon without the lift.

What dealership are you looking at?
Complicated answer. I live half the week in Denver (for work) and come home each weekend to Dallas. Today the dealer I went to was in North Denver. Tomorrow going to the dealer in Frisco TX. Don’t know if I’m coming or going!

So I’m considering the silver with a soft top as the top will be off most of the time and need something to put up quickly or secure the Jeep if it rains and when unattended. Thinking soft top is the way to go. This picture of amJLUR is where I’m leaning. Are those 33 or 35’s? From what I’ve read I’ll need a lift with the 35’s.

Looks to be a 2.5” lift and 37’s.

I had a similar decision about a month ago. I choose White. I liked the contrast between that and the black top and fenders. That being said, I am not sure there is a bad color choice. I was all about Mojito, but the wife didn't like it.

Good luck

This is great to know. I heard that it’s likely to rub.

I bought a 12 jku sport and poured money into it. Traded it in for a JLU Rubicon. Night and day. I wish I could go back and do it again. I would have started with a stock Rubicon in the first place.

I wanted Blue or Mojito before I went to the dealer. The wife liked Sting Gray. Once I got there, Mojito dudnt do it for me but sorta liked Blue still. Sting Gray won me over after seeing it.
All good colors.
