Finally time to get my JL and start building! Its been 6 years since I had to sell my 06' TJ and I have missed it every day since its been gone!
Found a 2018 JL Sport for a really good deal with only 24,000 miles. I love to do my own work, so it was a no brainer for me.
Had it shipped in and the tires/wheels, headlights and rock rails beat the Jeep to the house!
-Oracle Occulus Colorshift Headlamps
-17x9 Mammoth Rogue Matte Black Wheels
-Atturo Trail Blade X/T 33s
-Barricade Off-Road Rubi Rails
and a new stock of ducks to spread the love =P
Jeep DAY!!! Got really lucky, she has barely been touched. Not a scratch!
Lets get those Wheels on!
Headlamps installed
Rubi Rails and her first fill up! Gonna be spending a lot more time here. My Altima got 37mpg lol.
-Barricade HD Mid width bumper with LEDS
test flex at Brown Mtn OHV Trailhead pre-lift, scrapped a bit here and there but she did just fine
Need a hand??
Starting the side decals, took me a while as it was pretty humid and the application fluid was taking a while to evaporate after squeeging(sp?)
Shes a monster now. Or rather a Wendigo =P
Time to get higher
-2.5in Rough Country Coil Suspension Lift w/ N3 Shocks
Nothing too crazy but adds performance and ground clearance
5 hours later and she is standing 3" taller. Im sure it will settle a bit.
Exploring the Smokies in the Fall Color to break in the new lift.
Back to Brown Mtn to compare flex with the new lift! Great performance boost and no scraping to be found =)
Got home from Brown Mtn and the RC A-pillar spot beams and RC 9,500lb Synthetic line winch had arrived.
