Jeep doesn’t understand that we are celebrating 249 years, as 250 years as the USA would be 2026. I know we had that great parade celebrating the army’s 250 years. But the declaration of independence was 1776.

First ‘organized’ shots fired in 1775. True independence came several years later after the protracted war. Call it the 250ish anniversary?

Not to be pithy, petty or a grump but “America” isn’t turning 250, the government of the United States is.

The other 56 countries who also comprise the continent of America kinda celebrate a different date.

Yeah I know, some might say theres no difference between a 13 mm and a 1/2” wrench but regardless, they’re not the same.

I agree with you, Vince, but the semantic distinction has been a settled matter for a very long time now.

Dammit man, a 1/2” wrench just doesn’t fit a 13 mm bolt tight enough! I demand a recount! LOL
