Now GM is under fire for their Diesels, I "think" that Niche is fading for Passenger Vehicles. Electric would give the Torque, Batteries are key, as off road will take a LOT of Juice.
Competition is really heating up on all- electric, I'm hoping for this to arrive in next 5 years, or Sooner

Yeah I would prefer an all electric Wrangler to a diesel wrangler, and am hoping Fuji's new aluminum air batteries make it a much lower cost and higher capacity deal for electric cars than EXPENSIVE @SS RARE EARTH BATTERIES.
