My 2020 JLURD with 32k miles finally broke. Driving down the freeway on the way home from the beach, with the sun in my eyes. I went to lower my sun visor and it fell down......:(
Glad I got a warranty......:)

Over 45k and my passenger visor fell down. Pushed it back up and it’s holding for now. It might be a good idea to put some rtv up there. Just enough to not make a big mess and keep it removable. That or a set screw maybe.

There is a sensor under the dash that the on board computer uses to calculate how often you operate the vehicle on sunny days. If you are located in a region that doesn't get a lot of sun, say the UK fir instance, It will allow the jeep to shed the unnecessary part. Maybe that's what's happening. Of course being Italian electronics maybe the sensor is bad.
