Hello:

So, with all the new bells and whistles, what do I need to make the most of my new investment? I'll stay relatively bone stock for the time being...no lift or winch, etc...

2019 Ocean Blue Rubicon Unlimited
Optioned out
except for the newish Adaptive Cruise Control
and Engine block heater.
3.6 Auto and Sky One-Touch Power Top.

Jill is my fourth Jeep...she sitting next to Jackie, my 2014 I traded in tonite.

Awesome. Mine is supposed to ship from Toledo on Wednesday (roughly of course). Enjoy in fun and safety!

Awesome color! And don't you just love the sticker saying it was built especially for you! This was the first time I ever ordered a vehicle, and that small touch was just absolutely wonderful.
And what do you need to make the most out of your investment? Lots and lots of gas as you roam this beautiful country!

Congrats! I'm a couple weeks away from my one year anniversary of my first extreme impulse buy...a 2018 JLUR right off the lot. Paid way too much but don't regret it one bit. Just about every mile of the 18,000 miles I have driven it were on pavement, but got a couple trips out in Bridgeport, TX to test out capability and have some fun.

Ultimately this will be my second vehicle so I can put a few $ into it. In the meantime, it has been reliable. The only noted issues, which are minor and will eventually bring in to fix are rear window defrost inop and radio periodically resets for 2-3 seconds.

I read a lot on the threads on here for ideas on what I want to do in the future. Lots of great info and lots of great people. I don't disagree that there are quality issues out there...but my opinion is that they are the exception, not the standard.

Enjoy!

Congratulations. You will not regret owning a JLU. Especially with all the bells and whistles that came with your new Rubicon. Good luck with Jill.

Great looking Jeep! You'll find even bone stock you'll be able to get through most anything.

Congrats on ordering, and waiting, and not cancelling the order based on some of the negativity expressed here.
I have 15,640 problem free miles on mine. It would be a guess but I am gonna say I have put at least one third of those miles on it off road.
Much of my happiness may in fact come from only having driven a 1984 CJ 5 with a 327 and a four speed. Basically, it was like I was the passenger all the time! Having been in trucks and on motorcycles for most of my driving career (51 years) I am thrilled with what this baby has given me.
I also was not looking for gas mileage, a Lexus quality ride or the amenities of modern luxury SUV's. I bought my Jeep yo enjoy Jeep stuff. It has far exceeded anything I could have hoped for.
Welcome and hope you enjoy it
Oh and great choice on the color!
