Engines are bullet proof and extensively used in commercial vehicles. The only problem they seem to have is with DPF issues due to lack of regeneration unless you do regular motorway miles.
They use AdBlue so regen has never been an issue on my 2.2 diesel

Agree! I believe the 2.2 MJD is the way to go :rock:
I'll get mine in September, so I can't wait!

Anyone knows where we can get a workshop manual for the EU Wranglers with this engine?

They use AdBlue so regen has never been an issue on my 2.2 diesel
AdBlue is for the NOX catalyst which is downstream of the DPF. The DPF filters soot. They’re two independent components of the exhaust system doing different things.
