When I first picked up my JLUR I had to reject it due to a really terrible noise coming from the what seems the transfer case. This was during my test drive before signing. It would happen randomly and only for a few really quick seconds.
The dealership said the transfer case needed to be replaced and/or adjusted.
The fixed the issue. No problem. When I got home I put in some floor mats but forgot to plug in the drain hole caps. I drove around and although I know it would be normal to hear road noise, there was this weird clicking noise that would speed up/down depending on how fast I went. Sounds like something spinning and clicking consistently until I come to complete stop.
I told the dealership about it this weekend. They took care of a steering problem I had but the solution to the noise was "end caps were not plugged in and allowed road noise into cabin. plugged in end caps"
Anyway, Ive attached a clip, youll have to tune out the road noise and listen for the clicking noise.
