i am looking to see if anyone has ran their lifted JLUR across a scale full of gas after lifting and running 35’s or 37’s. I need to determine if a 6k tow bar is sufficient or should simply go to 7500.

Unless you're going to start an overland build 6k is plenty. A stock JLUR weighs in about 4440. The lift cant be more than maybe 50 lbs and 37's about an extra 300 maybe. Even GVWR is 5800 lbs so I think you're safe.

That’s what I’m hoping for, my JLUR is in KZ right now due at the end of the month then lift, wheels, tires, winch and LED’s and I’ve found a good deal on a tow bar/braking system so I am just making sure....wasn’t sure if anyone had ran one across a scale yet... since I ordered mine from a dealer 500 miles from home I’ll be able to weigh it but thats going to be after I bought the bar.
