what is the average weight of a 35x12.50r17 ?
I know some tires are heavier than others, but maybe a average.

Just google the tire mfr/model and size and you'll find it. Tirebuyer.com is a good source for these specs.
Honestly though, don't worry about it. I don't think any 35, or even a 37 will cause you any problems due to too much rotational mass.

Mine are 150 lbs each! 28 inch chromes on 35s. I have the four tires put on with a two and a half inch lift but have to figure something out for the third brake light to get the fifth tire on the back. From the threads I have read the 35 should fit with the stock bumper without a problem but I'm also hoping it does not mess up the camera?? Any thoughts which route to go for the third brake light or if my tailgate can handle the weight?

doesn't make sense spec wise, 33s are 51 lbs each 35s are 65 lbs each, 60 lbs more weight should not provide better gas mileage, my switch to 35s resulted in 1 to 2 mpg loss, with calibration...
