I just wish people wouldn't leave all that crap around - bums me out to be out and about and come up to a pile of shot up appliances, empty cans and other assorted trash

We spend time back in the woods up by our cabin in the Summer. We always pick up our trash before we leave. Plus if shooting, shot gun shells and bullet cartridge cases. We really appreciate the beauty of the woods, and don't want to be a cause of changing it.

And small world, was in Cave Creek area all last week for spring break! Weather was perfect

When I'm out I pick up trash that others have discarded. I never throw trash on the ground to just have to pick it up later. Goes from my hand to garbage bag or trash can. My trash or debris never touches the ground. Leaving only footprints and tire tracks behind.

I tended to try and fill my trash-a-roo before leaving the trail. Pack out more than you pack in.

Earthday, what a quaint 1970 idea. Until then my brother and me use to dump our used oil in the dirt alley to keep the weeds and dust down. Our section was the nicest on the block.

In the Old Days, dirt roads were oiled with used motor oil, sprayed from tank trucks. It was like velvet on our bare feet, and the Aroma of Hydrocarbons in the morning !
