Ways to limit freedom top rear window opening?

Hey guys, I like to drive with the rear window of the freedom top open for the breeze. The window is too tall for my garage when open though. Have you guys seen anyway to limit how far the window opens?

The easiest way would be to remove the factory gas struts that hold the window up, then install a shorter set that only opens as much as you would prefer. They run about $30 a pair online or at your local auto patrs store. Should be a 10 minute job.
